Emphasis on monthly…
Starting February 4th, Avenue L Coffeehouse will be hosting a weekly open mic night, every Thursday, from 8 PM – 11 PM… unless it’s reeeeeeeeally goin’, then maybe we’ll stay open a little later. ; )
So, be sure to ring out the old and bring in the new with us tomorrow!
Remember, you don’t have to be a professional to get on that stage. In fact, many musicians debut performances have been on that open mic stage! Don’t be scurrr’d! At the least, come out and enjoy a cup of coffee with us.
And, as always, please bring cash for coffee!
Remember that one time we made coffee but it was kiiiiiiinda weak?

After some taste-testing, we’ve come up with a stronger brew to highlight our organic, free-trade coffee from Dean’s Beans. Did we mention we’re the ONLY place in Texas to get a cup of this good stuff? You should come out and try it for yourself!

Yes!
Starting February 1st, we’re going to be open 5 days a week!
Our new hours will be:
Monday – Friday
6 PM – 11 PM
And, of course, we’ll still be open select Saturday and extended Fridays for events only.
And, as always, DON’T FORGET TO BRING CASH FOR COFFEE!!!

Yes. That’s right. I said hula hoops. Come to the LSC Mall area on SHSU’s campus on Wednesday morning for breakfast yumminy goodness and delightful diversions! 8 AM – 12 Noon
Thursday – Merry Open Mic Nite
Avenue L is all sparkly and green for the Christmas break. Come see it in all its grandeur! The coffee’s hot, the cocoa is warm, but the place is cold without you here! Come share your talents or snuggle up on a couch! 8 PM – 12 Midnight
Friday – James Caronna and Friends Christmas Show
James Caronna, Tim Qualls, Reliques, and more! What better way to end our concert season with a double CD release concert? Come on out to help us end 2009 with a bang (or something that will make it seem appealing enough for you to come)! Seating starts at 7:30 PM.
Sunday – Study O’ Clock
Need a place to study on Finals Eve? Come on out to Avenue L! We’ll be open from 8PM – 6 AM! If you need (practically) FREE coffee, FREE wifi, FREE scantrons, or FREE snacks to munch while you cram, come on over! And if you need a study break, there will be some quiet diversions available, too!
